The greatest tragedies were written by the Greek Sophocles and the Englishman Shakespeare. It is said that neither of them knew chocolate. Not surprising. Let's face it, chocolate makes everyone smile, even bankers.
Chocolate is often called therapy without an appointment and, sure enough, no appointment needed to come and peruse our vast collection of fine Belgian chocolates. But you are hereby warned: rare are those souls who managed to leave our shop empty-handed.
'Chocolate, by The SHOP' is the first chocolate production workshop in Cambodia. We use Belgian chocolate with 73% cacao content from South-American cacao beans. Under the skilful guidance of our Belgian Master Baker & Chocolatier Eric Proye, his Cambodian team of five dedicated young women and men transform the base product into an endless collection of dark, white and milk chocolate creations.
This "C-Team", as they are known, make classic international favourites such as almond truffles and praline-filled bars, as well as unique Cambodian flavoured products such as Mondolkiri honey pralines and Kampot pepper encrusted chocolate slabs. And anything else in between!
